The need
Increase the production capacity of our client as well as introduce the capability of producing cannabis plant extracts.
The solution
Design a new facility for the indoor growing, post processing of flower (including drying and trimming), packaging and extraction area for CBD oil with approximately 20.000 m2. The facility to be design will also incorporate quality control labs and supporting functions.
What we did and how we did it
We developed the concept, basic and detailed design for different disciplines such as process architecture, HVAC, interlocking, access control, process systems integration, BAS and EMS systems.
One of the first steps of the whole design process was the development of a high level master plan, aligning the short term goals for the site with the long term plans from our client to his site.
The close interaction with our client specialists, have allowed the development of a solution which was fit for the client requirements and evaluated in detail the expected capacity of the plant taking into consideration the process to be implemented.
